Game #3 of the NBA Finals goes tonight 8:00 PM ET from Dallas. Game #2 saw the Miami heat blow a 15 point 4th quarter lead and the Mavericks even the series at 1-1. There are two ways to interpret this collapse. Some say the collapse from the Heat has shifted the momentum in the series to the Mavericks and that will continue over into game #3 tonight. Others will say the Miami Heat blowing the lead in game #2 was a wake up call and they will come out more focussed than ever for game #3. I tend to subscribe to the second theory. When good teams play badly it usually is a shot to their face and they come out the next game with a good effort. I think we see the Heat show up tonight with a great effort. Being on the road is not that big of a deal for the Heat as they have 32 road wins on the season (2nd best in the NBA). Regardless, Game #3 should go a long way in determining who claims the NBA Championship this season as the last 11 winners of game #3 in the NBA finals have gone on to win the Championship. So whoever you feel will win the Championship is who you should side with in this game.
