Baltimore Ravens (-4) at St. Louis Rams (+4); Total 42.5
The Ravens are coming off an embarrassing 26-13 loss last week vs. the Titans. After an impressive win in week #1 over the Steelers the Ravens looked like a completely different team in week #2. The Ravens manages just 229 total yards last week vs. the Titans. Ray Rice managed only 43 yards on 13 carries while Flacco was not sharp either throwing 2 interceptions. We saw how the Steelers were embarrassed by their week #1 performance in Baltimore and bounced back in week #2 by completely blanking the Seahawks. After a poor performance last week in Tennessee we should see a pissed off Ravens team take their frustrations out on a banged up Rams team. The Rams are coming off a 28-16 loss to the Giants last Monday Night. Again Rams RB Stephen Jackson was limited in practice and is a game time decision for week #3. Last week Rams backup RB Cadillac Williams managed just 36 yards on 13 carries. Bradford threw for over 300 yards but the Rams have not been good in red zone and they only put up 16 points last week as a result. Currently the total for this game sits at 42.5 points at 5 Dimes Sportsbook. These two teams combined for just 29 points last week. With a pissed off Ravens defence heading to St. Louis I don’t see the Rams putting up many points this in this one (with or without Stephen Jackson). We’ll take the UNDER 42.5 points in this game.
