Free NHL Pick For April 19: Coyotes vs. Blackhawks
Phoenix Coyotes (2.25) vs. Chicago Blackhawks (1.69); Total 5.5
8:05 PM ET starting time for this game.
The Coyotes hold a 2-1 series lead heading into game #4 tonight in Chicago. The big news surrounding this game is the indefinite suspension of Coyotes forward Raffi Torres for his hit on Marian Hossa. Hossa will not be in the lineup for game #4. In game #3 we saw the Coyotes come away with a 3-2 OT win. All three games in the series have gone into OT. We should see another close one tonight. However, I do see the Blackhawks coming away with the win in this game. This series has the making of a 7 game series and the trend has been win one and lose the next one. The Hawks can’t be happy that there was no call in game #3 for the Torres hit (which the league decided was an illegal blow to the head). The Coyotes have got the better of the calls and in suck a tight series that seems to be the difference right now. In game #2 we saw Mike Smith go down like he was shot when Andrew Shaw collided with him behind the net. Sure it was a 2 minute goalie interference penalty, but not a game misconduct and 3 game suspension. Look for an angry and talented Blackhawks team to even this series up tonight. Currently the Blackhawks are a 1.69 (or -145) favorite at Bodog Sportsbook. This is about the most juice I ever lay (and I don’t do it very often) but I like the Hawks to get the W.
