Week #2 kicks off with the Bears and Packers on Thursday night. We do not have a selection for this game. We were leaning towards the Bears (plus the points) but money has been pouring in on the Bears moving the line down from +6 to +4.5 for Chicago.
Free NFL Picks For Week #2:
Monday Nighter: Broncos (+3) vs. Falcons (-3); Total 52
The monday night game is a great game to watch but tough one to pick. Both the Broncos and Falcons looked great in week #1. The Broncos were a little slow out of the gate but once they started with the no huddle offence they were almost unstoppable. Hard to imagine we don’t see a no huddle attach from the Broncos tonight. The Falcons offence also looked great in week #1 but they were playing against a banged up Chiefs offence (that got lit up by the Bills yesterday). Plus, the Broncos defence will be much tougher with Bailey and Porter defending the pass. If forced to pick this game we would take the +3 points with the Broncos but are in no hurry to bet against the Falcons on their home turf so we will have to PASS on the week #2 Monday nighter. Good Luck!
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+7) vs. New York Giants (-7), Total 44.5
Whenever the Giants are laying a big number at home we are going to be taking a close look at the opponent. That opponent this week is an underated Bucs team. The Bucs made a few key offseason additions (RB Doug Martin, TE Dallas Clark, & WR Vincent Jackson to name a couple) but as usual nobody was talking about them. In week #1 the Bucs came out with a solid defensive effort shutting out Cam Newton and the Panthers in the first half and holding them to 10 points for the game (and winning the game 16-10). We expect another solid effort from the Bucs in week #2 as well. The Giants have always been a much better road team. New York has covered the spread in just 3 of their last 9 home games. Currently the point spread is the Giants -7 just about everywhere’s you look Bodog & Bovada, 5 Dimes, BetOnline). 7 points seems like too many to us. We’ll take Tampa Bay and the +7 points in this game. As of Saturday the lined has moved to Indianapolis +3 Points at most sportsbooks.
Taking The Buccaneers +7 points @ 1.91

Minnesota Vikings (-2) vs. Indianapolis Colts (+2), Total 44.5
When betting on the NFL you have to be careful when laying points with road teams. In general it is usually not a winning strategy. That brings us to this game that has the Minnesota Vikings laying -2 points on the road. Sure, laying a few points with a strong Patriots team is not always a bad idea but laying points on the road with this Vikings team seems like a really bad bet. Last week we saw the Vikes squeak out an OT win at home vs. the Jaguars. The Colts definitely have the advantage at QB in this game and the advantage of being at home and they have the advantage of +2 points as well. Taking the Vikings as a road favorite makes no sense to us. We’ll take the Colts and the +2 points in this one.
Taking The Colts +2 points @ 1.91
