Free NFL Proline Picks For Week #15:

Monday Night Selection: Jets (+1) vs. Titans (-1); Total 41.5

This certainly isn’t the most exciting Monday Night Game of the season. The Jets enter this game with a modest 2 game win streak with wins over JAX and ARZ. The Jets have all but abandoned the passing game and are just trying to run it down the throat of their opponents. Last week Jets QB Mark Sanchez had just 12 pass completions for just 111 yards compared to 39 rushing attempts by Greene & Powell. Expect another heavy dose of running by the Jets. We should see a lot of rushes from the Titans in this game as well. Locker is back at QB for TEN but the Jets pass defence has been solid this season holding its opponents to under 200 passing yards per game (2nd best in the NFL). Expect to see a lot of carries from Chris Johnson. It is the total in this game that has caught our attention. Currently the total in this game is 41.5 points at Bodog Sportsbook. We expect this to be a boring low scoring game with both teams trying to run the ball down the other teams throat. We like this game to go UNDER 41.5 points.

Taking The Jets vs. Titans UNDER 41.5 Points @ 1.95

Selection #1: Colts (+9) vs. Texans (-9); Total 48

This is a big game for both teams. With a win the Texans can finally clinch the AFC South Division. The Colts will need to beat the Texans twice in the last 3 weeks of the season to have a chance at the division title. However, the Colts are currently sitting in a wild card playoff spot. All the momentum is currently with the Colts in this matchup. Last week we saw the Texans get embarrassed 42-14 on national TV vs. the Patriots. The Colts came away with a 27-23 over the Titans – their 3rd win a row and their 7th win in their last 8 games. Friday’s betting line at Bodog Sportsbook has the Texans as a -9 point favorite. Given how good the Colts have been this seems like an awful lot of points, especially for a big divisional game. The Colts have shown they have what it takes to come back from large deficits late in games making the +9 points with Indy even more enticing. We’ll take the Colts and the +9 points at Bodog in this game.

Taking The COLTS +9 Points @ 1.91

Selection #2: Vikings (+3) vs. Rams (-3); Total 39

As the season goes on Adrian Peterson seems to get stronger and better. Petersen has already accumulated 1,600 rushing yards and has a good shot at 2,000 for the season and an outside chance at the single season record. As a team the Vikings are still in the playoff hunt trailing the Bears and Seahawks by just 1 game for a wild card spot. The downfall of the Vikings has been their play on the road where they are just  1-5. However, this week they will be playing in St. Louis which is also a dome stadium. Petersen has been tearing it up on his home turk in Minnesota and will undoubtedly do the same this week on the turf in St. Louis. It is not as though the Rams are a great home team anyways with just a 2-3 home record. Bodog Sportsbook currently has the Rams as a -3 favorite and the Vikings as a +3 underdog (for -130). A closer look at the Vikings schedule shows they had a tough one with road games in GB, CHI, SEA, WSH, & DET so their poor road record is a bit misleading. We like the Vikings to win this game but we won’t turn down the +3 points at Bodog Sportsbook.

Taking The VIKINGS +3 Points @ 1.77

Thursday Night Pick: Bengals (+5.5) vs. Eagles (-5.5); Total 45

The line for this game opened as the Bengals a -3 favorite. Money has been pouring in the Bengals pushing them up to a -5.5 favorite. The Eagles have nothing left to play for but they looked good last week in a come from beind win over the Bucs. The Bengals have been solid all season and are coming off a tough loss to Dallas last week. We like the Bengals in this game but don’t feel comfortable in laying so many points, especially on the road. We are going to have to pass on the point spread.

Instead it is a player prop that has caught our attention. BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been good all season for the Bengals but has looked his best in recent weeks. In his last 4 games BenJarvus Green-Ellis is averaging over 109 rushing yards per game. The over / under for BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushing yards is currently 84.5 yards at Bodog Sportsbook. Green-Ellis has surpassed this total in each  of his last 4 games. In terms of run defence the Eagles are middle of the pack allowing just over 109 rushing yards per game. We like Green-Ellis to go OVER 84.5 Rushing Yards.

Taking Green-Ellis OVER 84.5 Rushing Yards @ 1.80
