UFC 167 takes place Nov 16, 2013.The main event features a great fight between Georges St-Pierre and Johnny Hendricks for the welterweight title. Hendricks has been cleaning out the welterweight division with recent wins over Condit, Kampmann, Koscheck, and Fitch earning him a shot at the title. Hendricks boasts a terrific 15-1 MMA record to go along with his 10-1 UFC record. However, St-Pierre has beaten all of these same fighters too (except for Kampmann who he has never fought) and is on an impressive 11 fight win streak in the UFC. Hendricks has shown some awesome power in his fights which many say give him a legitimate chance of beating GSP. The question is can he catch GSP with a clean shot and prevent GSP from taking him down neutralizing his power. UFC 167 features some other interesting matchups as well. Who is going to win the St-Pierre vs. Hendricks fight?
In his last fight GSP faced Nick Diaz. Remember the hype leading up to that fight how Diaz was dangerous and was going to push GSP to the limit.Well, that’s all it was – hype. GSP had little trouble with Diaz earning the unanimous decision. Again there is a lot of hype surrounding the power of Hendricks but landing a clean shot on GSP is easier said than done. We see GSP fighting a smart and careful fight and avoiding the power of Hendricks and winning this fight in a unanimous decision. Canadians can place there UFC 167 bets at Bodog Canada.
