Week #1 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card | Sep 8 & Sep 9, 2014

There were quite a few upsets on Sunday including a big one with the Bills upsetting the Bears in OT. In all there were 7 teams that won on Sunday that were not the favourite according to the point spread odds. We still have two Monday night games before we know the final results but it is safe to say it is going to be a big payout. It is always fun to guess at how much the payout will be (we’ll predict the week #1 NFL Proline Pool payout will be about $30,000 and even higher if the Giants upset the Lions). With all the week #1 upsets the Proline Pool had a six-figure payout with only 5 people picking every game correctly.

There were a few big upsets in week #2 of the NFL season which lead to only twelve Proline Pool winners and a very nice payout. There were so many upsets that nobody picked all 15 games correctly. We can’t remember the last time that you didn’t need to pick every game correctly to win an OLG NFL Pool. See below for the OLG NFL Proline Pool payouts for week #2 of the 2014-15 NFL season.

Week #3 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card #56 | Sep 21 & Sep 22, 2014

There were a few small upsets (SF, MIA, CAR) on Sunday but all of the big favourites won so we won’t see a big payout like we did in week #2. With the Monday nighter being such a close game it probably won’t affect the payout too much. We always like to guess how much the NFL Proline Pool will pay after the Sunday games – we will guess that there will be about 100 winners with a payout of about $7,000 each. There were only 36 winners in the week #3 NFL Proline Pool and each winner received almost 21,000.

Week #4 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card #82 | Sep 28 & Sep 29, 2014

Once again we had another big upset with the Bucs defeating the Steelers. Plus, we had a few smaller upsets with the Vikings beating the Falcons and the Cowboys destroying the Saints. If you have a perfect Proline Pool through the Sunday games (and yes we think there will be multiple perfect Proline Pools with 12 of 12 correct) you are in for a decent payday if you get the Monday nighter correct. We like to guess at how much the Proline Pool will pay after the Sunday games and so far we have been guessing low. There were 36 winners last week with no big upset. This week we had a fairly big upset but there are only 12 games on the Pool. We will guess that there will be about 40 perfect pools if the Patriots win (and a lot less if the Chiefs pull the upset) with a payout of about $20,000. The Chiefs won the Monday nighter but there were still 35 winners who each won $22,402.10.

Week #5 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card # | Oct 5 & Oct 6, 2014

There was almost a bunch of big upsets on Sunday but the favourites pulled through for the most part except for the Bills upsetting the Lions. If the Seahawks win the Monday nighter we expect there to be quite a few winners in the week #5 NFL Proline pool. We will guess 100 winners with a payout of about $7,500 each. If you need Seattle to win for a perfect Proline Pool it is a great game to hedge as the Redskins are paying 3.85 to win at Bodog Canada. We do not believe that 13 of 14 correct picks will win this week’s NFL Proline pool (even if SEA loses in the Monday nighter). With a SEA win in the Monday Night game there was a whopping 279 winners in the week #5 Proline pool with a payout of just over $3,000 for each winner.

Week #6 NFL Proline Pool Picks | Card #TBA | Oct 12 & Oct 13, 2014

There are 14 games on the week #6 Proline pool. Both NWO and KC are on bye weeks.

With the Panthers / Bengals tie on Sunday everyone is trying to remember the Proline Pools tie rule. The win goes to the visitor for OLG Pools in Ontario and both teams get credited with the win in WCLC Pools in Western Canada.

We had a fairly big upset with the Seahawks losing at home and with Carolina being credited with the win over the Bengals we should see a fairly big payout even with a 49ers win on Monday night. We will estimate the Week #6 OLG Proline Pool will have 75 winners (assuming a 49ers win on Monday) with a payout of about $10,000.

Week #7 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card #48 | Oct 19 & Oct 20, 2014

We should be in for a big payout this week. We saw quite a few upsets with SEA, CHI, and SD losing and JAX winning. If not for a bunch of late comebacks by BUF, WSH, and DET the Proline Pool payout would have been massive. We are still expecting a big payout if anyone picks all 14 games correctly. There is a decent chance that 13 of 14 could win this week’s pool. With all the boxing of games people do someone probably will pick all 14 games correctly but there is an outside chance that nobody will. We will guess that there will be 4 perfect Proline pools for week #7 with a payout of about $200,000. Even with all of the upsets there were still 17 perfect pools with a payout of over $47,000 each.

Week #8 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card #72 | Oct 26 & Oct 27, 2014

There were a few small upsets on Sunday (Bills, Vikings, Steelers) but no major ones so we expect there to be quite a few perfect NFL Proline Pools heading into the Monday nighter. If the Cowboys beat the Redskins (and they should) we will likely see a lot of winners and a relatively small payout this week. Assuming the Cowboys win we estimate there will be 500 winners with a payout of about $1,600.00. With the Redskins upsetting the Cowboys on Monday night it resulted in a lot less winneres (22) and a much bigger payout. There are a lot of Ontarians that don’t like Romo and the Cowboys after that effort (except for the 22 winners that needed a Dallas loss).

We had one big upset on Sunday (Rams over 49ers) and a few smaller ones but there will most certainly be multiple perfect pools heading into the Monday night game between the Colts and Giants. We will guess that there will be about 30 winners with a payout of around $25,000 (regardless of who wins the Monday nighter). There was a few more winners than we expected (101) which resulted in a payout of just over $8,000.

There were a few small upsets on Sunday (Jets over Steelers and 49ers over Saints) but we expect there to be a bunch of perfect pools heading into the Monday nighter. If the Eagles pull off the win on Monday night we estimate there will be in excess of 100 perfect pools. We will guess 200 winners with a payout of about $4,000. Week #11 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card #45 | Nov 16 & Nov 17, 2014

We had quite a few decent upsets on Sunday with the Rams beating the Broncos, Texans beating the Browns, the Bucs beating the Redskins, and the Bengals beating the Saints. Surely we are in for a big payout in the week #11 OLG NFL Proline Pool. We had over 700 winners last week but we don’t think there will be 50 winners this week. With a Steelers win we’ll guess around 40 winners with a payout of about $20,000 (and a lot more if the Titans win). If you have a perfect pool heading into the Monday Night game you are in for a big payday (if you win). Even with all of the upsets we still think there will be a perfect pool even if TEN wins but unlike most weeks there is a hope in hell that 12 out of 13 could win this week’s pool.

Just about everyone must have been on the Broncos as there were only 4 winners this week receiving almost $200,000 each.

Week 12 NFL Proline Pool Picks | Card #65 | Nov 23 & Nov 24, 2014

There are 14 games on the week #12 NFL Proline Pool as only two teams have a bye (Panthers and Steelers).

Will the Jets vs. Bills game count on the week #12 NFL Proline Pool (Card #65)?

The New York vs. Buffalo game was postponed until Monday and moved to Ford Field in Detroit because of all of the snow in Buffalo. The change in venue caused a change in the point spread and all bets at online sportsbooks (prior to the announcement) were cancelled and graded as a push. This has many people wondering if the Jets vs. Bills game will count on the Proline Pool. To be honest we are not 100% sure. We tried calling and emailing OLG and are waiting for a confirmation. We are guessing that the game will count. There are no point spreads attached to the Proline Pools so we don’t think a day and venue change will lead to them not counting this game. However, some people may have chosen a different outcome if they knew the game was in Detroit instead of in Buffalo. We are guessing the game will count but are waiting for confirmation. Please check back.

No it does not count in Ontario or in Western Canada.

Week #12 NFL Proline Pool Results | Card #65 | Nov 23 & Nov 24, 2014

There were only a few very small upsets on Sunday and basically all of the teams that won were supposed to win. Two weeks ago we saw all of the favourites win with one or two decent sized upsets and there were still over 700 winners. We expect there to be a bunch of winners this week. We do have two games on Sunday (we believe the Jets vs. Bills game counts on the Proline Pool) but regardless of the outcomes there are still going to be a bunch of winners. If both favourites win tonight we will estimate there will be 1,500 winners with a payout of about $600. If both underdogs win we estimate their will be 750 winners with a payout of about $1,200. We do not foresee a big payout this week regardless of who wins the Monday night games. After seeing the Alberta Proline Pool results with each winner receiving just $185 we don’t think the OLG Proline Pool payout will crack $500. It will likely be in the $100 to $300 range.

There is no chance that 13 of 14 correct picks will win this week. We are more likely to see more than a thousand perfect pools for week #12.

Week #12 OLG NFL Proline Pool Card #65 Results Delayed

The results for the Week #12 NFL Proline pool have been delayed for 1 day. OLG is saying it is the result of the Bills vs. Jets game being moved from Sunday to Monday. That’s a solid reason. What do you think?

Leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Estimated Results for the Week #12 OLG NFL Proline Pool

The results in the week #12 Western Canada (WCLC) NFL Proline Pool were not delayed. There were 1,672 winners there each receiving just $185.50. So far this year the WCLC Proline Pool in Alberta has paid more than the Ontario pool in just about every week. If this trend continues expect to see about 3,000 to 5,000 winners in Ontario with a payout of $100 to $200 (estimate only).

What Should The Week #12 NFL Proline Pool Pay?

We took a look at the moneyline odds for all of the week #12 winners and tallied them out to see what you should be winning for picking all 14 of these games correctly. The odds were 2.35*1.67*1.29*1.32*1.14*2.31*1.5*1.29*1.5*1.34*1.25*1.51*1.70*2.25 = 494.14. As you can see if you picked all 14 of these games correctly in Las Vegas or at an online sportsbook you would get odds of 494 to 1. Times that by your $5 bet and you should be getting a payout of about $2,470.00. The week #12 winners are about to soon find out that the payout is only a few hundred bucks (if they are lucky). The reason the payout is so small is because the OLG keeps 40% of the prize pool for themselves and because people like to bet favourites and when a lot of favourites win the prize pool becomes bloated with winners. The solution. Make sure you pick some upsets in your Proline Pool so that if you win one it is actually worth it or place your bets at an online sportsbook. Bodog Canada has easy deposits and withdrawals and allows you to bet on single games or up to as many as 12 games.

Results Are In

Finally we have some clarity (I use that term lightly). We do know that the week #12 OLG Proline Pool pays $303.30, that the Jets vs. Bills game does not count (sort of), and that there are 3,609 winners. Here is the full explanation from OLG:

· Prize shares and validations for POOLS Card #65 (American Pro Football, sales closed Sun. Nov 23 1pm) are delayed one day to Wednesday, November 26, 2014 to determine prize shares. We apologize for the delay and for any inconvenience.

· This delay is due to a technical issue with the proline.ca websites that may have displayed an older version of the Game Conditions for POOLS Cards. Depending on whether the Game Conditions were viewed by using a desktop computer or a mobile device, the site may have shown old Game Conditions that were adopted in 2008 rather than the current Game Conditions which were adopted in 2013.

· The Game Conditions speak to how to treat the NEW YORK J at BUFFALO which was rescheduled and relocated from a Sunday afternoon game in Buffalo to the Monday night game played in Detroit.

· Due to possible confusion over the Game Conditions, we have decided to pay prizes both as if this Event was “CANCELLED”, and, as if the Event has been played as originally scheduled with BUFFALO being the only correct selection. Each prize share will be $303.30.

· The outcome of this Event will be shown as “CANCELLED” however, regardless of whether a ticket had either BUFFALO or NEW YORK J to win, and if the ticket is correct on predicting the outcomes of the 13 other Events on the Card, the ticket will be deemed to be a winner, and will receive a prize share that would be the same as with a BUFFALO win only. Each prize share will be $303.30.

As you can read for yourself the explanation does not make a whole lot of sense and has got people all fired up.

More Info Regarding The Week #12 NFL Proline Pool Payout

According to Adam (who left us a comment) he spoke with an OLG rep and they told him that the winning shares being paid to those who selected the Jets is coming out of the pockets of OLG and that it is not affecting the prize amount received by those who went 14 of 14 with the Bills. The OLG could have explained this better in their announcement.

We had a fairly big upset on Sunday with the Chargers beating the Ravens plus we had a fewer smaller upsets with the Saints over the Steelers and Jaguars over the Giants. As a result we should see a much larger payout than last week’s $303.30. There were quite a few upsets on Sunday including a big upset of the 49ers by the Raiders. Plus, the Panthers surprised everyone by destroying the Saints on their home field. With a few more smaller upsets like the Steelers defeating the Bengals you can be assured that the week #14 Proline Pool payout is going to be a big one. Assuming the Packers beat the Falcons on Monday night we are guessing there will be less than 10 winners with each winner receiving around $100,000. If the Falcons win there may not even be a perfect pool this week.

Just about every favourite won on Sunday. The only real upset was the Bills over the Packers. The Cowboys also were underdogs but them winning can’t really be classified as an upset. With so many favourites winning it looks like we are in for another low payout. We are estimating that there will be in excess of 1,000 winners this week (regardless of who wins the Monday night game) with a payout of about $500.

The payout ($1,609) was a little higher than our $500 estimate but still much below

NFL Proline Pool Payout Prediction For Week #16

We had 4 big upsets on Sunday (HOU, ATL, NYG, OAK) and should be in for a big payout this week. When you tally up the odds for all 12 of Sunday’s winners you get about 1,500 to 1. With a 5 dollar bet this means you would win about $7,500. Plus, we have to take into account the odds of the Monday Night game (Broncos = 1.53 and Bengals = 2.56). So with a Denver win you should be winning about $11,500 and with a Cincinnati win you should be winning about $19,200. The Proline Pools typically pay less than what the actual odds would pay but we think this weeks payouts will be at least close to the real payout numbers. Are estimates for the week #16 payouts are:

If DEN wins we estimate a $8,000 payout.
If CIN wins we estimate a $16,000 payout.

Is there any chance that 12 of 13 could win this week’s pool? We think there will be a between 50-100 perfect 13 of 13 pools this week mainly because there were only 13 games on the pool.
